During the pandemic, I created a Salesforce Experience Site exclusively that allowed company employees to reserve an office space at their desired location. I chose an exprience site because not every employee had access to Salesforce. An experience site allowed every employee to use the tool. They were validated as an employee on login. This mobile-friendly platform allowed easy office space reservations with real-time capacity checks across multiple locations. It also managed office locations, reservations, and capacity efficiently.

I designed and implemented a cutting-edge self-service automation tool seamlessly integrated within the Salesforce application. My focus was on enhancing the end-user experience and automating decision-making processes. This innovative tool not only empowered users but also provided invaluable insights into process optimization and training opportunities. This innovative self-service automation tool, powered by Salesforce components like Screen Flow, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and the Utility Bar, revolutionized the way our organization operated, delivering improved user experiences and data-driven process enhancements.

I designed a tailored custom Lightning page template that precisely aligned with the workflow requirements within our Salesforce application. This unique layout was meticulously crafted to accommodate the organization's tools and workflow processes, particularly for case resolution. A key aspect of this customization was ensuring that non-technical users could easily update components without the need for coding, providing flexibility and agility. This tailored Lightning page template, leveraging Salesforce components like Aura and Lightning Page, revolutionized our application's usability. It provided a user-centric approach, simplifying customization and optimizing the workflow for better user experiences and more efficient case resolution.

I am FormAssembly certified and have used FormAssembly to build custom forms for lead generation with Salesforce and to create internal surveys. During the height of the pandemic I generated direct revenue for the bank through the utilization of FormAssembly as a vital step for the intake for SBA loan applications. Lastly, I wrote custom code to capture and pass an adobe tracking ID form to Salesforce.

I helped to troubleshoot and build solutions in a Fintech ecosystem between Salesforce and Amazon Connect. I have my own Amazon Connect instance where I built custom internal flows to look up a customer when calling in and pass that information to Salesforce in a screen pop when a customer calls.

Used in various Salesforce orgs to automate data manipulation, including SFTP drops and direct object integration. One project involved creating a custom Salesforce automation for customer compensation, which converted records into CSV files for SFTP, enabling our in-house print team to produce custom mailers for customer distribution.
With the upcoming release of the AppleVision Pro I thought it would be fun to imagine what a Salesforce environment might look like running on that OS. To create this I used a combination of Photoshop and the SLDS Figma pack.
I built a MIRO app I'm calling SF Wires that is tailored towards building wireframes for Salesforce inside of Miro. The app is built using drag and drop functionality and is meant to be quick and intuitive so that anyone can use it - designer or not. There is so much customization that can be done within the Salesforce environment now that it's important the barrier to great UX is reduced so that our users have less friction in their day-to-day. Outside of Figma (which is great for designers) I noticed a lack of support for this throughout the ecosystem. It is for this reason I chose to build this inside of MIRO where everyone can use it despite their background
Many times in my Salesforce career I've been asked to mock something up. Usually this just ended with me building the actual idea. However, a lot of time and money can be lost when doing this. I've also seen countless others fall into this trap. Companies spend money wasting admin or developer hours building an idea that most of the time isn't fully defined when this happens. In the Salesforce ecosystem we now have tools to help alleviate this. These tools not only save time and money, but provide a better user experience at the end due to a better product. In the example below I used Figma to create a simple animation in under 5 minutes for a semi low-poly calendar component that is launched from the Utility Bar. All I had to do to make this was download the SLDS Figma pack to Figma, find the components, and make some simple frame animations. As Salesforce continues to grow and becomes more customizable it becomes more important than ever that as admins, devs, and architects that we slow down to implement better UX processes through proper frameworks to save money, time, and produce better results in the long run.
I had a random thought, “Can you play Pokémon in Salesforce?" Well I answered my own question and recreated one of the most iconic moments of my childhood. I created the intro to arguably one of the most famous game series ever, Pokémon Red. I created text based game play with a low level battle mechanic. I was able to do this in Salesforce using a screen flow, lightning app builder, LWCs, and some simple HTML/CSS.
